USFA Aircraft

    All of the USFA aircraft and simulator are meticulously maintained by the maintenance department. The fleet currently consists of five (5) airplanes and (1) flight simulator. Two (2) Cessna 150s utilized for primary and basic flight training, one (1) Cessna 152 utilized for cross-country and basic flight training, one (1) Piper Cherokee 140 utilized for basic and advanced instrument flight training, one (1) Cessna 310 used for basic and advanced multi-engine including instrument flight training, and one (1) ATC-610K Flight Simulator utilized for basic and advanced instrument training.  All are equipped with voice-activated intercoms and headset, a major benefit for the student and instructor.  For more information on these and other aircraft you can visit Jane's.

    U.S. Flight Academy is utilizing in the instrument Training Environment and ATC-610K Flight Simulator, which is providing both novice and experienced pilots the opportunity of achieving and maintaining instrument proficiency as they navigate totally by instruments within the Air Traffic Control environment.  The ATC-610K Flight Simulator, when used with the Flight Assignment and Coordinated Instrument Rating Program Tapes, is a complete system simulating the aircraft controls and instrumentation, the IFR environment, and the pilot/controller interaction.
